Default audio device not working
« on: October 01, 2015, 07:04:01 am »

Hi, just installed Raspbian with JRiver on a rapsberry Pi 2 and a M2tech DAC USB

everything ok except when I go in preferences/audio, default audio device is PI one.
if I get in the list, choose M2tech, push by default and press ok, it doesnt keep and still keeps PI soundcard

could help?

In Tools>Options>Audio >> Audio Device
Try to choose an Audio Device with a name which looks like   front:CARD=.......

Nice to read it's working now,

I'am very interested how your DAC performs.
To my knowledge (if it is a M2Tech hiFace Dac) it has a similar (Brand) USB receiver as my DAC, which has a occasional drop out with Hi-res music.
