Media Center is not saving my ratings

I recently spent hours rating my music. It was devastating to find they were not saved the next time I opened Media Center.  Is this a known bug? How can I correct this problem? ::) ::)

Not sure if I'm using a client. However, it is registered Licensed as indicated in the registration information. How can I determine if I'm using a client?

Are you using Media Server?  Playing from one machine to another?
