(solved) - Import fail
« on: November 08, 2015, 01:40:58 pm »

Hi altogether,

A friend gave me old Caruso Songs as flac with cue-files.
I divided them first into flac and tried to import them to MC18.

MC tells me that 400 files have been imported, but I cannot find them.
There is a phenomenon: I sorted the list descending "import-date".
then I imported the files. directly after that, they are show in the list.
Then, after some seconds,  all imported entries have no content( no title, album, usw..)
Then some more seconds, they disappear completely.
I tried the same with the files converted to mp3. It didn't work either.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Best regards from germany

I have noticed, every time i do the automatic import, MC increases the number of files with about 400.

Is there a way to compress the database (clear empty or defect entries)?
Is there some kind of database repair utility?

best regards

Good morning everyone,

yesterday I was deperate, because MC did not import my files.
I shut down the computer, when I saw a Message "updating windows...." and I thought "mmmhhh" maybe this caused the problem.

and today in the morning I found out: "YES, windows updating caused the error".

So, the problem is solved .

Thx for listening.

regards
Peter
