Swiping in from the right in JRemote under iOS 9 now shows the split screen / multitasking window instead of the playlist. Any workaround? Or am I not swiping quite right?

I confirm I see this too.

Is there anyone at JRiver who actually uses JRemote in real life?

This is an iPad-only (and only certain iPads) iOS9 feature.  It is activated by swiping from past the right-hand bezel, but it probably does conflict with the existing shortcut on JRemote to show the playlist.

I can test and see on my iPad mini, but it does probably require a change in JRemote to assign that function to a different gesture (since it is now, in some cases, system reserved).

I would guess it is an issue on all current iPads, and any previous models which are powerful enough to support split-screen multi-tasking.

I tested it already, and as mentioned already I confirm that see the problem.

The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the JRemote start screen shows a nice graphic of various gestures to do various things; and now at least one of those gestures does not work as advertised.

It was arguably not a very sensible feature anyway. Unless you 'know' that swipe in will show you the playlist, there's nothing on the screen to give you a clue. All other functions have some kind of icon, or bit of screen, associated with them. And as there is an alternative way of showing the playlist (i.e. the now playing view)  I don't think I'd miss the swipe in gesture. A little 'list' type icon in the currently playing track zone would be make more sense to me than the right arrow in a circle, which looks a bit like a disconnected Play icon.

Swiping from the middle brings out the split screen, but swipe from lower or upper half brings out the playlist.
Agreed it might be easier to use an on screen icon, similar to the |> button top right (which also shows the playlist with more detail).

Ha! Thanks! Interestingly the swipe from lower/upper also shows an icon for the swipe to get split screen. All a bit silly I think. Two kinds of swipe .. nah. But correcting the start screen shouldn't be too difficult.
