1. Changed: When TV tuner failure occurs MC will not show a popup since an OSD message is already displayed.  A popup could interfere with attempt to restart the playback.

13. NEW: If a TV tuner fails to play a TV channel, MC will put it in an error state temporarily, and retry playing, so it will find another tuner for the job.
14. Fixed: Using the Move/Copy Fields tool on the Date field would end up with wacky values in the date (because it's actually a floating point number) instead of taking the value and interpreting it as a date.

Can you describe this more precisely?   What do you mean by "the splitter in Playing Now" ?

( One reason that I ask is that some months back, I found and reported an obscure bug that only occurred when using Split View and then locking one of the views. I'm wondering if this might fix that bug. )

In Playing Now, there is a horizontal bar that separates the file list from the cover display above it.  It has up and down arrows on it (disclosure triangles I think they are called).  You can move it up and down to display more of the files or less of the files.  It's a "splitter" because it splits Playing Now into two pieces:  File list and cover display area.

Before this change, if you had two tabs open with two different zones of Playing Now, the splitter position was linked.  Move it in one zone and it moves in the other zone too.  Now different zones can have different splittler positions.  It's mildly confusing (terminology), but you can also have Playing Now, in two different zones, in a Split View, so it shows both Playing Nows at the same time.  A DJ here on Interact wanted to do this and he wanted different splitter positions for each Playing Now.

I hope that explains it.

Several years ago, I had moved the bar all the way up.  In Standard View, I don't want an Album Cover.  That sort of pleasant experience is for Theater View.

In Standard View, I want data.  So, I moved the splitter bars all the way up so there could be more files listed.

This reminds me of something for the Too Easy, thanks!

mc2xml - Location: Germany.
It seems the problem is not caused by the new MC release but rather by the plugin. I rolled back to MC 21.0.19 (the whole C partition) and observe the same behaviour. Nevertheless, EPG updates stopped working approximately when this new feature was introduced.

There appears to be a problem with mc2xml in your locale.  I tried it and got only old data (yesterday and older).

Yes detaching the display comes close, but you then have to move\resize it.
