Hi how can I tell why a programme set to record as part of a subscription did not record?  Logging not turned on.

Even if you had logging on, there is not much info from logs that you can use.

You can examine the recording rule to make sure that it is not too restrictive.  If the recording was to happen during the last day, or two, you can still display the programs during the past couple of days, and see if the program you wanted to record really match your rule.

Another area to check if to see if your tuners are in error state (assuming you have not restarted MC).

Just checked tuner(s)

They currently show recording BBC One and channel 4 HD but I'm only actually recording BBC 1?  Last channel 4 hd programme which should have recorded Homeland on Sunday also didn't record
