« on: November 25, 2015, 09:30:49 pm »

I use a external DAC ,(DACMINI) is there a way to play music from jriver, pause  the player and play videos from the web?  I have  usb audio selected  as my audio  device.

I only use headphones I would like both sounds out of my headphones, as is now.  music  from headphones  web videos out of my computer speakers.

It sounds like you're using an audio mode with Exclusive Access.  Where MC takes over the audio device and won't let other programs talk to it.  Check in Tools > Options > Audio > Device settings and see if exclusive access is turned on.  For a lot of the high quality options, this is required.  Some details here:

You might also be interested in the WDM driver.  This lets you route external audio THROUGH JRiver MC.  This would allow your web audio to pass into MC directly.  This may or may not work well for you.  I hear there can be latency issues with WDM.  I haven't used it myself, as WDM only works under Windows and I use MC for Mac.

Good luck.
