Some problems with CUE files is not fixed yet:
I. Problem with deletion of album, which had previously been added with drag & drop
the CUE file to the album window. It looks like that MC does not delete permanently
the album, still keeps the metadata of this album,
for example:
1\ drag & drop the folder.cue to the MC album window,
2\ deletes the album (only album, no files)
3\ modification of contents of the folder.cue
4\ drag & drop the modified folder.cue to the MC album window
5\ result: the metadata of this album is was not changed
It looks like, that MC still keeps the metadata, which are associated with
file patch (data relationships ?), so just change the folder name. for example:
1\ drag & drop the folder.cue to the MC album window,
2\ deletes the album (only album, no files)
3\ modification of contents of the folder.cue
3\ rename the folder that contains the folder.cue
4\ drag & drop the modified folder.cue to the MC album window
5\ result: the metadata of this album is was changed correctly
Question: why and for what purpose the MC keeps metadata of the deleted albums ?
II. Problem with adding the folder of albums that contains the CUE files,
based on method: library import options, drag & drop the folder
The adding these albums is not every time correct.
It looks like that MC some times ignores CUE files while creating metadata
of these albums. In any case, the structure of CUE files was correct (drag & drop CUE file is succefull)
Question: is there any implemented rule for the name of CUE file (for example: folder.cue)
similarly as for covers files (for example: folder.jpg) that opens by default CUE file
to create metadata of album ?
