Oppo ha-1 not available in output list
« on: December 01, 2015, 12:16:12 am »

I'm using an oppo Ha-1 dac /headphone amp via USB 2.0

The Mac sees it, MC v20 sees it. But v21 no sign of anything other than core devices and HDMI

That's odd.  Make sure all of your other audio programs are shut down before trying it with MC21.  Especially close MC20 as it might be in exclusive access mode, and thus "hogging" the interface.

Even a restart with nothing else running and it's not visible. It is selected as the main output device is system prefs. Running the latest El Capitan 10.11.1 - can't think what else it could be....I don't want to remove and reinstall as it burns a recovery key I think. Rather frustrating. I'm also using bootcamp W10 on the same machine and it sees it no problem. This is a dedicated macmini just for jriver.

Don't worry about that, if you get low (or run out of) restores for Media Center 21 one of the developers can reset the count for you easily.
