QNAP TS-453A 8GB with 4x3TB WD Red, connected through HDMI-out nr. 1 with a Denon X4000 receiver with HDMI control switched on and a TV connected to HDMI port no. 1 of the Denon.
FIrmware 4.2.1 MC 21.0.28

I have tried reinstalling MC and that seems to work, as long as I don't shut down the QNAP.
After shutting down and starting up the QNAP again, MC only launches after reinstalling again.
Very annoying and reason enough for not buying a MC license key yet.
Any ideas?

Supplement 1-1-2016:
I noticed something strange. When I tried to save a logfile which I wanted to examine in order to see if I could find a reason for the problem I described, I saw that the name of the logfile holds the time and date.
The time however is one hour wrong. It is one hour earlier than the systemtime of my QNAP.
So when I set the systemtime one hour earlier (I couldn't find a way to change the timesetting of HD-station or MC) MC suddenly did start when tried to start it. Problem solved it seems.
Hopefully the real solution from JRiver will come soon now....

That's very interesting.
The next scheduled release has a timezone fix.
Are you UTC +1 ??

JWO:
Yes that's right, I'm from Holland.
Can you tell when the next release will be?

Hopefully to see a fix soon - really annoying with the current situation :-/

PaulI:
I also seem to have the same problem.  Once the NAS shuts down, MC will not run unless re-installed.

Also, does MC21 for QNAP allow theatre view?  I couldn't seem to bring that up.

Media Center 21 for QNAP does not have theater view.
