There are two features from previous players I've used (they're actually radio automation software) that I would like to do with JRiver, if at all possible. They are:

1. Have a certain genre displayed in the playlist in a distinct color (or background) to stand out from other items;
2. Have a song flash (or somehow stand out) when it is about to start.

I understand that #2 is probably indigenous to the aforementioned radio automation software, but it's a cool feature, and I want to at least ask if it can be done with MC21.

1 is certainly possible, 2 is (currently) not.

For 1 you could use expressions, either via a library field or an expression column, to create what you want:

if(isequal([genre],"Pop"),<font fgcolor="#FFFF00">[genre]<//font>,)
