I just upgraded from MC20 to 21, and moved the library over. Most things work fine, but some configuration items have not come over. Things like all the DSP filters, shading of the main window, config of the main display (with current track, dual spectrum analyzers etc), and some Audio/playback options like track change and Audio device. Others like max and initial volume did transfer with library.
--It would be nice if there were one up to date wiki page that linked to the answer for all upgrade issues. I do this once/year so I always have to search again. I think I just manually recreated these last time.
