Hello board members and admin.

I recently came back to JR River when I discovered it was available for MAC. Since I had been a long term user I had a serial number for MC13 which was acceptable for me buying a Master Key Upgrade.

So with delight installed it on my computer and was so pleased to see that great user interface once again.

However, on a few occasions when I open MC18 it tells me I need to insert my license key. This is quickly USING UP MY RESTORES. I have no explanation for this other that software errors.

Please help me with this.

Secondly, I have my library on an external drive. This appears to be acceptable by the software. When I attempt to change TAG INFO I often get the message MC18 can't find the file, even though it plays it well.

Any ideas fellow users and ADMINS?

Are you really asking about MC18 for Mac?  I've never seen it before, so I'm trying to make sure I understand before trying to answer any questions.  The current version of MC for Mac is MC21.0.25 .

I certainly am Brian and the maddening thing is it's once again saying it's UNREGISTERED. To change this state I have use up one of my 6 remaining restores.

I see you are talking about version 18.     

You just bought a license for version 21!! Master licenses didn't work for version 18 so download 21 reinstall etc. I think that's what Brian is on about

Ah good. I thought the current MAC version was MC18. That may well explain why it is constantly rejecting my license.

I'll look for vs 21 and get on with it. So great to have MC back in my life. iTunes is so clumsy compared with your software.
