Convert to DSD, multiple files at once crashes MC

Don't know if this has been posted before. I searched the forum but did not find it.

When I convert files to DSD and I choose 'Number of files to convert at the same time' from the Options, I find that any value higher than 1 will crash MC immediately when I hit the Convert button. I tried to narrow it down by using different file formats as input files (FLAC, ALAC, AIFF) but that didn't make a difference.

Could you provide the log zip file from Help > Logging after the crash?

The log is too big (The message exceeds the maximum allowed length (12000 characters).). Do you want me to send it by e-mail?

Just attach the logging zip file.  After a crash, restart MC and go to Help / Logging / Report problem which produces a zip file on your desktop.

I think a fix is coming next build.  It took a little head scratching by both John and me, but it should all be good once the build ships.

And just to give you a little more detail about what was happening, two (or more threads) at once were all creating the encoder plugin at the same time.  That caused the encoder plugin to end up in a not loaded state for one of them so then when we went to ask a basic question from the product info it was NULL and we crashed.

The fix is to put a shared lock around the loading of the encoder plugin so there just will never be two threads loading it at once.

We're kind of mystified about why it worked fine on Windows because it seems like the problem would be on any platform.

^ Why not download the build and try it?  Even if they think they fixed it, it still needs to be tested to be sure!  Help them out.
