Settings not being fully transferred
« on: December 19, 2015, 11:12:18 am »

I tried creating new zones using settings from existing zones, seems like none of the options were copied.

When transferring settings from one machine to another, all zones were transferred, but the dsp settings were not completely transferred.

Just thought I'd report this.

Just to clarify, did you transfer settings using a Library Backup and Restore?

Yes, I transferred using backup/restore.  One the same machine, I restored setting from MC20 to MC21, also copied the zip file to another machine to do a restore.  I made sure that the version of the file restored from had a date that contained the changes I made in MC20.

In MC 21, transferring library backup from one machine to the other, the zones still refer to the original machine, and one cannot check the zone settings anymore.  So when we want to replace  a computer with another, how are we supposed to transfer the library and settings now?
