ASIO stopped unexpectedly with McIntosh ASIO driver v2.0

I am using MC v21.0.23 on a Windows 10 device. I am using a McIntosh MA6700 with integrated DAC over USB.
After some minutes playing I get the message McIntosh ASIO driver stopped unexpectedly.
I have to reboot the computer to get music again.

Is this a known problem and is there a work around?
