Volume indicator on mac is gone when using JRiver
« on: January 02, 2016, 04:26:36 am »

I have an issue with Volume control on mac [Indicator of Volume (+) and (-) in the bottom of the screen when using buttons on the keyboard] , when JRiver MC in the background and i press the buttons on the keyboard i don't see the indicator.
In settings i have ->  Volume Mode:System Volume
what i can do to fix my issue?

Thanks

If you don't need to use System Volume (I don't) you can use Internal Volume instead.  Then the volume changes in MC will only talk to it's internal volume slider and not talk to the system volume at all.

Try it and see if it works as you are expecting.

Had almost the same problem but sometimes i have indicator but i can't use it, wherever i press the button indicator appear with the sign no audio and i can't change the volume both in the 2 configuarations (internal or system)

Sometimes it works like a charm if i don't use Firefox...

And sometimes i haven't indicator but changing the volume works.

Edit:problem solved with the update.
