No Playback Audio

I'm new to Media Center, having just downloaded it today.  I've successfully imported my music but when I try to playback I get no sound.  I've selected my audio output (Boom 2) and changed playback to gapless.  I sure this must be a simple fix, I'm kind of embarrassed to ask such a stupid question.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

As I recall, Boom2 is not a supported audio device.  Boom2 is audio "enhancement" software that then talks to your real audio device.  Configure MC to talk directly to your sound device and it should work fine.
