Use of ... in menu items

This is *really* picky but - isn't the ... in a menu item supposed to indicate that the item will open open a modal dialog or at the very least a modeless dialog that is part of the application? Item like Support Forum (launch external browser) and Rip Disc (switch application to different mode) should not have the ... :D Menu items like Options should.

If it launches an external process like a web browser it should have a ... as well.  At least in my opinion.

The ellipsis should be used when additional information is required.
