Limit to library size?
« on: August 27, 2003, 07:07:28 am »

For both my machines at work and home I think I've hit some sort of maximum library size. Just recently, they  both just sort of lock up when starting the program.  I go into task manager and Media Jukebox.exe is pinned at 99% CPU usage.  I've tried 9.0 and the latest 9.1 beta with same problem.  I've tried rebuilding the library but it comes back each time.  One machine is xp the other is 2000.
My library is all wav files arranged as Artist\Album\track# - TrackName and consists of 1,350 Artists, 3,200 Albums and 38,400 tracks.  Plus a cover.jpg file in almost every album folder.  Everything worked fine when I was at ~32,000 tracks so I'm guessing somewhere in there is the problem?  I'm also getting low on disk space on the media drive - have about 60 gig free out of 1,700 gig (1.7 TB).
Thanks for any help.

Wow Eric that is a large physical size library.

I have more tracks approx 60,000 but only about 325Gb in file size and my library is fine
