Setting File Type (e.g. FLAC) prior to ripping CD

How do you set MC21 to default to a desired file type (e.g. FLAC) prior to ripping a audio CD?

go to rip disc (action window bottom left corner) then options
choose encoding (on the left)
choose encoder options.  you can also choose file location etc. and ripping mode

once you've completed this and start the rip, this will be the automatic default for every rip thereafter until you change it.
