Channel mapping help
« on: February 13, 2016, 05:16:23 am »

Hi guys,

I'm currently biamping my L R channels in a 5.1 system. The channels are now phisycally mapped as follow:

Left -> midbass left
Right -> tw left
Center -> midbass right
Sub ->  tw right
Sr left -> sr left
Sr right -> Sr right
Sr back -> center

I tried using the mix channel in the parametric equaliser, but honestly the only result was a....headache!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love the dsp option of JRiver, but I think that in cases such mines, an input-output matrix would be INCREDIBLY EASIER AND SIMPLER.....

Of course I suggest the developers to consider such matrix, but in the meanwhile, may someone help me a bit?

Thanks in advance!

P.s.

I need such config only for watching Netflix using the WMD. For movies I use the convolution engine with the files created by Audiolense. Wonderful solution with no issue at all!
