Hi all,  I've looked though several threads to try and figure this out but have not been able to.  So I'm asking for some help.

I'm using JR MC 21 and a Focusrite Scarlette 18i20.  I've been able to get MC to play through the 18i20 fine but can't seem to get any input to REW.  I have an output of the Focusrite connected to input #1 and can see the input meters moving. I can see the meter in Windows Recording Device bouncing when playing music from MC and when sending a signal from REW.   In REW, I can't select an input device.  Is this a MC problem blocking the input or something else?

Here's how I have things configured.
MC:
  - Audio/Audio Device/Line Out Focusrite USB 2.0 Audio Driver [ASIO]
  - General/Features/WDM Driver checked

Windows:
  - Default Playback Device = JR MC
  - Default Recording Device = Line in Scarlette 18i20 USB

REW (V 5.10):
  - Preferences:
    - Drivers = ASIO
    - ASIO Device = JR MC
    - Output = 1: Channel  (options go up to 16: Channel)
    - Timing Ref Output = 2: Channel
    - The Input and Timing Ref Input fields are grayed out

Turning off the REW Generator works fine but when I go to shutdown REW, I get an error “com.synthbot.jasiohost.AsioException” with the details listed below.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Bob

I came, I fiddled, fiddled some more, and I concurred :)

So I fiddled around.  What ended up working was using the Java drivers in REW.  I read in some posts that the Java drivers may not work properly but they seem to be doing OK so far.  Time to start making measurements and program in corrections.  I hope this helps someone else to get things working.

What a great product JRiver is!
