Problem using existing movie posters
« on: March 02, 2016, 08:34:21 pm »

So I am trying to move from Kodi to JRiver, and I've scanned 700+ movies with TinyMediaManager to download and customize their metadata. Is there anyway in JRiver to tell it to pull the poster files in the movies folder?

The poster are sorted like so:

/movie/movie.mkv
/movie/movie-poster.jpg

My goal is to have JRiver pull the movie-poster.jpg as the poster instead of going to IMDB.

If you name the JPG file *identically* to the filename of the movie, MC should find it.  For example:

Forrest Gump.mkv
Forrest Gump.jpg

If MC doesn't pick them up on import, you can do: Cover Art > Quick Find in cover art folder .  That should match up image file with the movie.  Give it a try on a few.
