Hi,

Where can I find the latest language text file for reference?

The english text file seems not updated for a long time. The last modified date for english text file is 09/29/2015 but I've seen there are additional strings in other language files which is not available from an english text file. Where can I get the latest reference file for translation?

BTW, is there any easy way to manage translation except for using text editor?

The native language of JRiver is english. They haven't updated the strings because they haven't needed to.

Man, it's required when translating english into other languages for references. I'm just wondering how it is possible for other translators to update their language files without references.

It was run through the translation tool recently.

I just ran the English file through again for the next build, but like I say, it's pretty minor changes.

What are you talking about?

The translation tool is a JRiver proprietary thing that only we can run.  It scans the source code and includes all the latest strings it finds in the translation.

Oh well, I've misunderstood something. I thought google translation under language menu does what you're talking about. :p

I'm reviewing the whole language file and found one weird thing at the end of a language file.

What's the "#  All Other Phrases (alphabetized)" part? Refreshed language file for english does not contain any strings available but there are more strings in other language files, i.e. german. Is it safe to remove all the strings below "#  All Other Phrases (alphabetized)" from translated one?

They're phrases that are left over.  We didn't find them in the source code, but they were in the translation already and we didn't want to throw them away.
