scheduler in Id?

Does the Linux version installed in Id have a scheduler component like the other versions? Is the scheduler controllable from JRemote?

MC on linux doesn't use the scheduler yet. It's on the long term todo list.

Is it possible to install Windows on Id (with or without removing Linux) and use the Windows version of MC?

You could buy any NUC and install MC for Windows.

What is the advantage of the Id (basically a NUC with MC Linux version installed) over a NUC with Windows installed?
