JRiver Media Center and Voiceover
« on: April 07, 2016, 10:12:33 pm »

Hello everyone, looking around JRiver Media Center looks like just what I'm looking for. However, I'm totally blind and use Voiceover on the mac as a screen reader. I've done searches, but everything seems to be quite old as far as accessibility. Has there been any progress in JRiver Media Center and access via voiceover? I just bought an Amazon Echo, which would give me pretty good access from what my wife and I observed in the video, but I'd still need computer access to set it all up. Thanks for any comments and have a great day.

We (JRiver) haven't done anything, but someone else had made a plug-in that can control MC with the Echo.  Here is a link:

The Echo is a pretty great device.  I think you will love it.
