How to retain/preserve file/track name during Convolution?
« on: April 30, 2016, 06:27:55 am »

I am using Convolver.  The source files (individual tracks) are all properly named with track title.
HOWEVER, after processing with Convolver (output to disk using Disk Writer), all file names are only of the format "Disk Writer - {timestamp}"

There is no need to convert tracks, JRiver can do this processing during playback without altering your source files.
And if you insist on converting files, you should be using the convert format tool not the disk writer playback device.

Processing will be performed "offline" for later playback on an entirely separate system.  Therefore, the Convolution process MUST write the corrected file to disk so the files may be transferred.  At no time will Media Center play audio "live".

The track/file names must therefore be retained.
