I have searched the forums for topics related to a 64 bit version of JRiver MC 21 but have not been able to find any information on this subject.

I converted from MC 20 several months ago and I can't remember if a 64 bit option was available.  My currently loaded version of MC 21 is 32 bit.

Will the 4 GB RAM limit for 32 bit programs prove problematic when playing multi-channel files?  Would a 64 bit version of MC improve this performance?  If a 64 bit version is available and desirable, how can I convert to it?  Will Library Backups made in the 32 bit version restore correctly if a new install is required?  I have spent countless hours tagging many ISO files and I don't want to have to re tag them.

I have read that forums on this general topic have been posted but I can not locate them.

There are topics regarding 64-bit with older MC versions, but the answer is likely the same now as it was then.

If MC was a 64-bit binary on Windows, there's some things that will stop working, need re-coding, etc. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, honestly.
