Hi.  New member here.  Getting a mac mini system up and running with os x 10.8.5 mountain lion.  The modifier says to keep this version because the mac mini is optimized for it.  Came loaded with audiovarna which is not producing volume to dac.  Modifier recommends switching to jriver.

What is the best version of jriver to go with this version of osx.  I don't need video.  It is for a 2 channel audio system.  Older version or the current?
