Audio stuttering but only in Theater View - Now Playing

MC updated itself to 21.0.80 when I started it yesterday. It may not be related but ever since, the audio stutters and is (periodically) distorted but only when I switch to Now Playing in the Theater View. I have 2 HTPCs and this issue only affects one of them.  ?

Any idea what I need to look at or what other info I need to provide?

If you switch what's displaying between the artwork, the visuals, etc. does it make the skipping stop?

Further to my 1st post, regardless of how the displays are configured, the audio issue occurs in Playing Now, Info, and List. When playing audio under Theater View my menu includes Home / Back / Playing Now / Info / List / Display View. If I select Display View or go back to the main menu (Exit / Audio / etc.), the audio issue stops. If I back out to an album art display (album or artist display), the audio issue remains. Seems to be related to video content being displayed while in Theater View.

BTW, the computer is running Windows 10 and the files are coming over a Gigabit Ethernet network from a NAS. The Benchmark:

* DB       1778
* JRMark 1261
Not enough horsepower anymore?

1261 is an OK score, not great, but fine for normal audio.  What types of files are you playing?

* flac (CD & DVD-A rips)
* iso (SACD rips)
* Blu-ray Audio ripped to disc format
