Audio stuttering but only in Theater View - Now Playing

Getting this on Intel 8th gen UHD630 chipset integrated graphics, latest drivers, MC 24.0.78 (64 bit).

Theatre View audio stutters badly, also in the main interface when moving the horizontal scroll-bar between thumbnails at the top and track gridview at the bottom. Sometimes scrolling the thumbnails, stuttering occurs. Seems its definitely a graphics issue. I use 8 ch convolution on playback and no stuttering anywhere else in JRiver, videos, hi-res audio all fine, when not fiddling with the UI.

Tried Legacy Direct3D Theatre View, seems to help somewhat but not completely.

Any further ideas? Theatre view, and scrolling the interface are unusable here.

Video driver?

Try toggling hardware acceleration in MC's settings.

Even with selecting low quality graphics driver, still skipping audio when moving the pane separators up and down. What could possibly cause the audio system to stutter when just moving things on the screen. What is at fault here, the graphics driver?
