Tracks Not Advancing
« on: June 11, 2016, 10:49:55 am »

I'm connecting to a Denon AVR, adding tracks and controlling playback under the "playing Now" node in the tree on the left. I'm using MC 19.

My problem is that the current track always loops, it never advances to the next track in the playlist. I"ve tried setting "Disable SetNext Support" on and off, no luck.

Try also the setting Ignore Transport Events

I got your renderer report thank you. Basically it confirms that my DMRA tester sees the same problem that you saw with with MC. Try the Ignore Transport Events setting in MC that I suggested in my earlier post.

Are the settings you're talking about in MC21?  I can't seem to find them. Thanks.

In the Media Network section of MC.

In the Media Network section of MC.

That's where I was looking but I must be blind, I can't seem to find it. I'm using Generic DLNA if it makes any difference.

Try the search window at the bottom.

I believe it's Media Network > Advanced > DLNA Server.

It is not in MC DLNA settings...

Right click on the renderer in MCs tree on the top left, then DLNA settings, Ignore Transport Events.

Thanks for your help, I was able to find those settings. They didn't solve my problem but at least I know where a bunch of different dialogs are. Thanks again.

If you want to try and debug this further, then you could run my DMRA application, check the HTTP logging box, and then let it search for your player, and finally post the HTTP log file, either here or by mail or PM to me.

Hi Andrew,

You probably don't remember that you tried to help me 4 or 5 months ago but I'm Mac based so unable to use your software. Thanks though.
