Why is it so hard to upgrade???
« on: May 19, 2016, 06:04:49 pm »

Why do you make upgrading to the new version so hard? I go to the page and it wants my registration key which is a huge string. I have the PDF I was sent but it seems to be copy protected so I can't copy the registration number. The site says that if I forget my number you can send it to me so you already know that I have a registration why do I need to input a long string like that by hand?  I spent a half hour trying to find a way to copy that number. It is so long if I try to type it I will get it wrong, I know that because of the @#^&^#$&^*Q@ Windows keys that I have to enter. It always takes me about 10 times to get it right. I don't mind the upgrade fee I just wish way there was an easy way to do it.

Hmmm, upgrading was pretty straightforward for me - the license is 30 characters with dashes, like this;

AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA

Just input the license into the upgrade page of choice (Windows, Mac, Linux or Master) and it *should* work from there.

Our system doesn't e-mail a PDF.

Copy and paste works.  Have our Restore Page e-mail you your licenses.

Select a license, then right click and choose copy.

Find the right update page for your license and position your cursor there.  Right click and paste.

When you post, it would be easier for everyone if you just asked a question.

And, when all else fails, read the directions.
