I just reset my Library View to "default" for some testing - and I see/feel that there are several fields missing from this view.
I only make this recommendation to help new Users.

I believe the default View for Video>Files should include the "Media Sub Type", "Series", "Season", "Episode", and Date Imported.

Along with the other data already shown in the default view, these additional fields would provide enough basic information for "new Users" to figure out how their movies and TV shows are stored/configured in the Library, and most importantly help them figure out where things are when something doesn't go/import right.
IMHO.

It may be that I underestimate the skills and knowledge of the new User.
