Portable install metadata not updating on files

I'm perplexed by this issue.  If I update metadata on my MC21 install on the main media PC the MP3 tags get update in the files no problem.  If I try to do the same on a Portable Install on a USB drive the files do not get updated.  Manually selecting Update Tags (from Library) I get a failure error message.

Doesn't seem be permissions issue since I can easily move/delete/add files to the folders where the files exist.

Well that certainly happens!  I'm working on a fix for the next build.
