JRiver Remote
« on: May 25, 2016, 01:53:47 pm »

I'm a newbie. Running WD EX2100, feeding a Cambridge Audio Cambridge Stream Magic 6, to Peachtree Amp.
I can't use the remote when my computer is off.
I've configured something incorrectly?
Very pleased with JRiver....

Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know, the Western Digital storage appliances (MyCloud) can't run JRiver MC.  So you might have your music files located on a WD NAS, but JRiver runs on a computer:  Mac, Windows, or Linux.  If the computer is off, JRiver Media Center is off.  The computer has to be on for JRiver to be running because it runs on a computer.
