I swapped out my id's old hard drive and installed the id software on a new drive.   All installed and updated properly but i can't do headless as vnc and the ms remote desktop no longer can connect.  With VNC, i've recieved messages saying the connection was refused by the host computer as well as the port the computer is listening on is not available.

any thoughts?

That sounds like a firewall problem.

any ideas of where to look?   I tried turning the firewall off altogether but still have the issue.  Could it be a port issue?

Did you try updating the Id software?
