I'd just like to ask, when the next update for QNAP will come out, as there were many releases for Windows in the meantime, while the QNAP version is still on an older level.

  • Long cold Winter...

If you follow this topic: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=104699.0 you'll see a new build is in QNAP QA right now, so hopefully it'll be released soon.

In the meantime, how does it crash? Do you have auto import enabled? Have you tried turning on logging and waiting for a crash and posting the log here?

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

Maybe you can help me first: log file is put under root/desktop, but I can't access this directory from GUI to put it into the forum.

Any idea how I can access this JRiver log on a QNAP as it's not put on the share but to the root directory by JRiver?

Nothing in the log in particular.
There are some files like this: (Skipping bad file on import).

I don't think a bad jpeg chould make it crash.
What is the DLNA device on your network?

DLNA provider is JRiver on the QNAP and Twonky on a WD Mycloud. DLNA consumers are mainly a PS Audio DAC/bridge and TV's.

The build which fixes the licensing should be out any day now.
There will be one following that which should help with crashes caused by DLNA devices.
