Audio > Files is a panes view. One good solution is to add a new Pane and make that the sorting pane. You can put one sort preset in that pane, or several if you'd like. Just add a Pane and then configure it as a search list and add saved searches to do the sorting the way you like it.
See the attached screen shots for full details on configuring all the settings. Note that my example sorts by [Album Artist (auto)], [Album], [Disc #], [Track #] .
Now if your sorting ever gets strange, you can just click on the preset in the sorting pane and it will all go back to the way you set it up.
