When I start a movie in JRiver using ROHQ, I have allow the program to make refresh rate changes to my TV.  Even though I have Mad VR configured to change the refresh rate back, this isn't happening.  Are there any known fixes for this?  I was thinking of using event ghost to change my refresh rate when I stop a movie, or minimize jriver but I would like to try to find a better way to fix it.  Thanks.

Use ROHQ without modifications and then search for "refresh rate" in the forum.

I recommend using Options > Video > Display Settings > Automatic Change Mode in JRiver instead. This is a better method.

If you still want to change the refresh rate in madVR, do you have ". . . when media player leaves fullscreen" checked in madVR?

I 100% agree to mojave that it is better to let MC do the refresh rate switching instead of madVr. Has in the last 3 years worked 100%.

I enabled refresh rate changes within mad vr the way Mojave recommended.  Before, I had it change refresh rates based off of weather my video is in full screen instead of when playback starts. This seems like it fixed the problem, but I will experiment with letting JRiver change the refresh rate, which is also enabled, later.
