possible to choose audio output device based on content
« on: June 05, 2016, 12:20:45 pm »

Hi -

I currently have a large collection of 2.0 96/24 bit FLAC files as well as several 5.1 96/24 multichannel FLAC files.

Is it possible i JRiver to trigger the USB audio device for 2.0 96/24 playback but use a different audio device for the 5.1 channel?  I'd like to have this triggered automatically instead of having to manually configure it.

I have my PC connected to my Oppo BDP-105 USB DAC input which is perfect for 2.0 channel; for the multichannel I need to use HDMI since the oppo USB DAC only supports 2.0 channels

thanks
