Id Update Server Status
« on: July 17, 2016, 11:48:45 pm »

I'm trying to update my USB Id devices but am seeing the kind of response reported here:
Id Update (12) Error Messages
So, I'm not able to update to Build 138 (from Build 135 in my case).

(Apologies if I missed the memo ... ) Is it just me that's got an issue or is the update server down for an update of its own?

I believe that error is because the new Engen software is only being downloaded if the IP address is on our whitelist.  It's how we're testing on a few machines without giving everyone a cold if it doesn't work.

I think we could probably release it now.

Thanks for that. If I have the experience again, I'll at least know what is probably happening. A simple English message along the lines of "Down for maintenance back in a couple of hours" would be nice but I'm guessing Linux has its limits.

Hopefully Engen has worked out OK. Any clues as far as Panel integration for the Id?

Panel and Engen will probably appear at the same time.

It's up now. The current build of MC is 20.0.140-18 and this will add the Engen server to the Id.
