Is it possible to get to Tagging mode whilst in the recently imported pane? F4 doesn't work, nor right click select from menu & the icon won't work if put on the toolbar.

When I import files, I would like to go directly to Recently Imported & do all my tagging, rather than having to find them all in the library to tag. Perhaps there's an easier way?

just noticed there is a Smartlist for "task -- empty properties" which I can modify to show tags that i need to fill in, but I still can't access Quick Tagging (F4) from here

Tagging Mode only works within Media Library, not in playlists. Recently Imported is a playlist, hence Tagging Mode doesn't work there.

But as a work around, you could create a View Scheme with a rule to include the Recently Imported playlist.

Any idea what the rule for only selecting recently imported files would be to set up a scheme?

for the search criteria just select the 'recently imported files' playlist - that should do it
