Reverting to 9.1.226 from 9.1.228?

I really want to take party in the testing of the new version but have to admit that the thought of testing a beta of a beta is getting a bit scary.  Hence the question: If I were to install it can I simply go back by installing 226 on top of 228 or is that likely to cause me problems.

Also, I really don't want to risk losing my view schemes so is there any way I can back these up?  Would backing up the library do it?

It's probably OK -- nothing changed in the data formats  -- but no guarantees.  Going from 228 to 226 should work.

I did so and then back again to .228.

It's OK for me.
