Can't Add Views to Top Panel

Usually along the top panel in MC I can add views by clicking on a small tab on the right-hand side.

Now, that small tab has disappeared. How can I add more views?

Pic attached details the problem.

The tabs are limited to ten. Try clicking aa view in the tree with your middle mouse button... That opens the view in a new tab, which should allow you to "turn it up to eleven" :)
