MC 21 - Editing files - Non-refresh issue

The past few months has seen an issue when editing/removing files. Before the page always refreshed immediately but now nothing happens and gaps appear where files have been deleted.

All real time interaction has gone. Even when you move away from a given file directory and back you do not always see an updated screen until you reload the program.

What version are you using?  21.0.90 is at the top of this board.

Antivirus software can cause odd problems.

What part of the program are you in when you see this?  Explorer?

Where are the files stored?  On a local drive or a NAS or USB drive?
