I would like to know why Boom 2 stops working with JRiver Media Center?

Boom 2 is a system wide audio enhancement App, available on the App store. I believe it has been developed by "Global Delight". It does provide a significant boost to the sound spectrum.

Based on the small amount of online postings I could find, I'm pretty sure Boom and MC aren't compatible.  I think Boom would need to present itself as an OS X Core Audio device in order for MC to talk to it.

You could use MC's DSP features.
