DTS Audio-CD channel information always 6?
« on: July 08, 2016, 07:18:19 pm »

Is it normal that [Channels] always shows 6 if it's just one channel?

I have for example some pink noise for left channel only or a 4.1 song but it shows 6 channels.

That makes sense

The DTS encoding specifies 6+ channels.  All programs should read it that way, it's during decode that the channels are split out.

Ok that makes sense for wav.
But if i convert them to flac (what i did) they are already decoded...
