JRiver 21.0.91 crashing

I did let it import my iTunes library.   The import is ok with an error or two.   That being said why would the application randomly crash when there is no import activity.   Sometimes the crash will occur when the app is idle or when playing music.   I tried switching DACs too and it didn't change the behavior.

I love the app and have paid for my third upgrade but this is driving me crazy.

I would remove all of the M4P files as a test.  Make a Library Backup first, so you can go back.  After removing the M4P files from the Library, test and see if MC still crashes, or if it's suddenly stable again.

This is starting to become a bit of a mystery now.

That file exists on my HD but NOT in my library.  In my Import settings, iTunes isn't listed in the auto import  (i probably did it once and not again).

Is that job to Analyze in the configuration some place and I can remove it?

Awesome Donkey:
It's not in your library because MC can't import it because it's a protected audio file. If you try moving the .m4p file(s) to a different location to where MC is actively running auto-import, it might help.

Let's take one file as an example.  So a file like /Users/smitty/Music/Itunes Music/crash.m4p .

...and you're saying that you can't find that file in your library.  And that folder, or a folder above it is not listed in your Auto Import configuration?  I'm not sure what's going on if that's the case.  I would think MC would only try to import files that were in an auto import folder.  Or folders that you manually told it to import.
